A Modern Affair at The Meridian House in Washington DC with Soft Florals by Stem and Thistle

Rebecca and Jason hired The Collective to plan, photograph and film their Washington DC Wedding at The Meridian House across from Meridian Hill Park. It was a classic affair for a modern, fashion-forward couple who wanted minimal but eye catching designs. The couple chose ikebana - a centuries old Japanese style of arranging flowers - for both the cocktail hour and reception centerpieces in neutrals while the bride’s bouquet was a little more traditional in shape with white and blush blooms tied with a hand-dyed silk ribbon. For The Collective, this wedding was the perfect blend of modern and classic traditions and both posed and unplanned moments captured.
